In the year 2015, at age 19, she published her first single for her debut album Here. The single was praised highly equally from critics and listeners. The song peaked at 19th on both the Canadian Hot 100 as well as Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the smash one of the best Songs of 2015. That same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being among the five original tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts, including those of the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Alessia Cara is a Canadian musician who was born the 11th of July, 1996 to parents of Italian heritage. The parents of her gave her an instrument when she was just 10-years-old. This sparked her enthusiasm for music. A few years later, at the age of 13, she started to cover her favourite songs through YouTube which is a huge media platform in order to demonstrate to the world that she was talented and courage to become an aspiring singer. In fact, one of her cover songs Sweater Weather was the single which got her attention by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose and record her tracks.
