Dua Lipa is an English singer and musician born August 22, 1995 at London United Kingdom. After a stint as an actress and model she was signed to Warner Bros Records. She launched her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album reached No. three on the U.K. Charts. There were eight songs released such as Be the 1 I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as the 6th most popular album. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British breakthrough act in 2018. Dua lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Her parents are of Bosnian heritage by her mother's grandmother. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja which is a city located in Kosovo. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. Her siblings include Rina and Gjin. Lipa began to learn how guitar playing as well as sing under the guidance of her dad Oda. He is the leader singer/guitarist for Kosovan's rock group Oda.
